Due to a major flight delay we arrived to Crete in the middle of the night with a 3 hour drive ahead of us. So, we spontaneously booked a room in Pinelopi Hotel since we were nearby at around midnight. Luckily, the very spontaneous booking was successful and even though it was in the middle of the night, we received the keys and the contact person was very helpful on the phone. Thank you for helping us out and making the booking in the night possible. 5/5 recommendation.

24/08/2024The hotel is out of the city, we could park easily (at the hotel next to it). The room was equipped with a small kitchen, bathtub, and a jacuzzi. There is a pool outside. The bathroom is big, as well as the room. Ans it was clean. Beach was at walking distance and Rethymno center at 10-15min by car. The bed was not really comfortable, too hard, and the breakfast could be more varied. One last thing we really dislike in the room, is the noise. We could hear when the neighbors were taking a shower and the water refill of the wc is loud and takes a lot of time.

06/07/2024Lovely! We stayed here for 2 nights in September. A very last minute booking. The hotel is set down a very quiet lane but within 2 minutes walk to both the gorgeous beach and the opposite way to the main street with lots of nice shops, supermarkets , coffee bars and some very good tavernas. The staff are extremely friendly and nothing is a bother. The rooms are a little dated but super clean and well equipped. Nice balcony too for the sunsets. The pool and garden are well maintained and very nice for a quiet day. No children's stuff here, but great for adults. I really liked it here and it was good value. I would have scored 5 but we found the beds too hard and a little update would improve things. That said I would definitely go back.

14/03/2023Excellent family owned hotel at Platanias, 5km from Rethimno center. * Fully equipped studios just 5min. from the beach, the bus stop, the market, everything is so close by, and yet perfectly situated to relax and unwind. Filoxenia (hospitality) is their middle name and their profession, too! Feel free to ask the manager Pinelopi for advice and her tips will make you eat, drink and have a splendid time like a local. Thank you👏*Bus number 20, every half hour on holiday season.
